The "Victorian" era was a transition away from the simple lines of the Georgian and Federal periods. Most of us think of the "Queen Ann" or "Stick" styles with all its gingerbread trim when we think of this period. The "Second Empire" is also included in this style. It is more formal and stately with the beginnings of the more elaborate detailing that we think of when we envision "Victorian." Our house plan collection leans more to the Queen Ann style. With all of our plans, the essence of the period is captured within a floor plan that contains all of the modern features desired by today's homeowner.
